Hula Hoop & Circus Play Night
Beginners welcome, coordination optional
Movement, laughter, and permission to be terrible at something new.
August's Craft Night at Altitude steps away from the table and into the open space. Hula hoops, juggling scarves, spinning plates, and whatever other circus props we can get our hands on. This one's for adults who forgot they were allowed to play, and for kids who already know.
What you'll do
Learn the basics of hula hooping, try a handful of beginner circus props, and spend a couple of hours reminding your body that moving is supposed to feel good.
What you'll take home
Probably a few sore muscles. Definitely some laughs. Maybe a new hobby you didn't see coming.

Craft Nights at Altitude is Banff Pride's monthly gathering for anyone who wants to spend a couple of hours making, moving, or building something with their hands. One Tuesday a month, we take over a room, lay out the supplies, and open the door to the whole community.
Some nights are quiet and tactile. Others are loud and a little ridiculous. All of them are beginner-friendly, queer-centred, and built on the simple idea that craft and company go well together. No experience required. No pressure to be good. Just show up.
