Market
Coordinator
Be the face of Banff Pride this summer. As Market Coordinator, you’ll represent our organization at the Banff Farmers Market, manage merchandise sales, and help build relationships with local artisans and vendors. You’ll get hands-on experience in sales, event planning, and small business development—all while supporting queer joy in the Rockies.
Type: contract, seasonal. Rate of pay: $23/hr

Operate Banff Pride’s booth at the weekly market
Manage inventory, process payments, and track sales
Coordinate vendor partnerships and assist in curating our merchandise
Support Pride-run markets and seasonal events
Maintain the online store and oversee customer service
Create resources and guides to help sustain market operations long-term

Is friendly, reliable, and enjoys talking to people
Has an eye for visual merchandising and product curation
Is curious about retail, event logistics, or social enterprise
Wants to support inclusive community spaces through creative commerce

Be aged between 18 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;
Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and
Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
A Valid driver’s license and access to transportation
