The Banff Pride Society is a membership-driven not-for-profit Society.
We welcome members regardless to race, sex, creed, national or cultural origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identification, and physical ability or health status.
We couldn’t do it without you and appreciate your help in making Banff Pride happen. As a member, you have the right to vote at all General meetings and have your voice heard on matters involving the direction of the society.
Personal members will be enjoying discounts at our events all year long. Non-Profit Organization and Business Members will be listed on in the business listing on our website. Our memberships are valid for 365 days may be purchased at any time throughout the year. In order to vote at any General Meeting, your membership must be purchased prior to the start of that meeting.
We offer different membership options:

Individual members represent only themselves. Individual members shall be notified of all general meetings and may participate and vote in meetings of the general membership and, with notice, participate in other meetings of the organization. They may be nominated for election as a Director, may head or participate and vote in committees constituted by the Board.
Any individual who is a resident or is employed within Banff National Park, Îyarhe Nakota, the Blackfoot Confederacy (including the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai), Tsutiina nation or Alberta Métis, is at least age sixteen (16) years of age and who is in accord with the mission and values of the society may be a member.

Banff Pride Society membership is open to registered non-profit organizations or businesses, subject to Section 4.1 and approval by the Board. Corporate members shall appoint one representative. Representatives of Corporate Members shall provide an authentication letter from the organization before they are registered as such. Representatives of Corporate Members are not eligible for nomination for election as a Director. The appointed representative of a Corporate Member shall be notified of all general meetings and may participate in them. With notice, Corporate Members may participate in other meetings of the organization and may sit on committees constituted by the Board. Corporate members do not have voting privileges.
