Our mission is to make Banff National Park a diverse, inclusive and safe destination for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to visit and call home. As Canada's first National Park, Banff has welcomed visitors from around the world for over a hundred years to experience its natural wonder. As a community we are building a future where diversity will thrive within this world class destination.

We’re looking for awesome folk who live or work with Banff National Park, who are ready to share their good vibes and unique superpowers.
Board Members play a crucial role in the success of Banff Pride. This involves actively participating in board and committee meetings, contributing to policy development and implementation, supporting programs and events, engaging in fundraising efforts, reviewing financial activities, and representing Banff Pride in the community.
If you have a background in communications, event management, advocacy, non-profit governance, or 2SLGBTQIA+ community involvement, we want you to be part of our dream team!
Board members should have experience in and a passion for,
Communications, marketing, media, or public relations
Event management, including volunteer coordination, sponsorship, production, and logistics
Planning and executing advocacy strategies and campaigns
Non-profit governance, financial literacy, and administration
Involvement or experience with 2SLGBTQIA+ community organizations
A Purposeful Commitment
Board members contribute 5 – 10 hours monthly. Attending board and committee meetings, participate in community events, and support ongoing initiatives. Board members are expected to actively contribute during the Banff Pride Festival each fall.
